My name is Cameron O'Hara, Freshman, 15 years old, QB1 for Cooper High School in Union, Kentucky, 5A. I am built different. Mentally. I'm a leader with grit! I can focus on the moment and not be shaken, I embrace adversity because there is always a lesson to be learned and growth is the result. I love a challenge because it strengthens my mind to set new goals and strive to be a better version of myself every day. Whether it is in the classroom, in my home or on the field, I will succeed. But that did not happen overnight. This plan was put in place years ago. I am the youngest in my family. I have two older brothers that I have been competing against my whole life. Competition with two older brothers is nothing new and has always motivated me to be better and work harder along with the support of my parents. My academics take precedence over everything. Proving myself in the classroom is the most important attribute about myself. It creates a work ethic that has allowed me to be successful on the field as well. I want to win, in the classroom and on the field! I know I will find the right home in college to pursue academic excellence along with being a great team player that will help a brotherhood of players excel on the football field as a result of my hard work and dedication.
