Gwenyth Wessling '22 Recruiting Profile

First and most importantly I love the sport of softball.  When I first began playing at the age of 6 I immediately knew this was the game for me. 

Since I first started playing, every time I walked on the field I wanted to be the best player.  I mostly had that feeling as I wanted my parents to be proud of me, but that has grown into wanting to accomplish my own goals and exceed at every aspect of the game.  These goals include working the following:

    * Being part of my HS teams and winning our 1st ever District, Regional & State title (HS is only 10 yrs old)

    * Supporting my travel team in continuing national recognition as one of the country's premier teams

    * Create lasting friendships and relationships with all of my teammates to celebrate our accomplishments together

    * Accomplish my dream of playing at the next level and earn a spot on a college roster

    * Accomplish my dream of playing in the Olympics with the Team USA

I realize my goals will not be easily accomplished, but I'm going to put in the work and make sure I give it everything I have regardless.
