Finished up my junior season this year. We went deep into the playoffs with a 10-3 record on the season. I finished with 1,848 yards passing, 23 TD's, 64% completion rate, rushed for 347 yards and 5 TD's rushing.
After Sophomore Season Below:
I am going to be a junior at Parkview Baptist High School, in Baton Rouge, LA. I have been an athlete my entire life, as a top 5 nationally ranked track athlete and an All-State soccer player as a freshman. However, my love is football and am fighting for an opportunity to take it to the next level. I was Offensive MVP as a sophomore.
I was selected for the Elite 11 Regional Camp this year and performed well. Looking forward to next year! I was also selected for the Blue Grey All American Regional combine and had a great scouting report after the event. I was the top QB in the overall regional combine results.
I won the starting QB job last summer after my freshman year over two incoming seniors. However, the week before the first game, I had a freak accident and partially amputated my toe with a lawn mower as I was completing my last job of the summer. Determined to come back as fast as I can, I was put into a game the 4th week into the season at halftime (telling my coach I was ready on the sideline) against one of the top programs in our state after we were already down 40-0 and managed to make several drives with scores. Needless to say, I was excited to earn the job and be back. After our team started 0-3 this year while I was injured, I was blessed to be able to help my team go 6-1 once I was able to play. Unfortunately, I broke my left (non-throwing arm) collarbone in the last regular season game and did not get to play in the playoffs. After it broke, I did continue the drive with it broken until we scored a touchdown before exiting the game.
Adversity is never wasted. It makes us stronger. With that being said, I am determined to come back stronger this spring, summer and in the fall. I am working out daily and had a great spring. I am stronger than ever and believe I am one of the best QB's in the class of 2024. Excited for the fall season!
