Greetings, my name is Edem Denoo, I am a young man out of Grand Rapids, Michigan who dreams of playing college football. Ever since I started playing in my sophomore year of high school, I've discovered a profound love and passion for football. I wish to pursue my calling throughout my collegiate years and continue to play the sport that has provided fulfillment in my life. I am willing and ready to put in the work to make my dreams come true. I am forever dedicated to developing my skills, whether it be in the gym, on the field, or in the classroom. I believe that I am a solid athlete and I possess the necessary core values, but what I would say truly sets me apart is my abilities as a teammate and a coachable player. My willingness to assist and be there for others so that we can all succeed is something I believe would be a great fit for any college football program. I embrace coaching as it serves as a learning experience and as motivation to get better. Off the field, I continue to build my mental fortitude as I've been through many struggles throughout my life, the most prominent of them being depression and anxiety. Although it has posed a substantial obstacle, I now feel battle-tested, and my experiences with depression and anxiety prove to only make me stronger. Throughout all the ups and downs, I persevere not only to become the best football player I can be but to become the best human being I can be. I hope this statement finds you well and I hope you consider me for your program.
