I've been playing the game of football since I was 10 years old. It has been a big part of my life, and I always look forward to the football season. I enjoy time with my teammates, coaches, and the preparation for the season. They have all taught me a lot about football, as well as being a team player and how to set an example for younger players and the community of Hastings, Minnesota. I have made many life long friendships through football. My coaches have taught me about the game, but they are also people that I look to as role models and for advice for daily life.
I spend the offseason in the weight room and getting my body in tip top shape in workout programs and classes. I was in a class over the summer called Raiders Express ran by my coaches that worked on strength training as well as speed and agility. I am also in a class during the season and school year called SPARQ which is a class very similar to Raiders Express. I also play baseball in the offseason. I play for the varsity team and a Legion summer team. I believe that I have been playing baseball at a high level as well. My position I play is most in the outfield. My coaches in the summer league team described me as "the team's most consistent power hitter," which I am very proud of.
My goals for college would be to get a great education and to play football if given the opportunity. I am open to all football opportunities I can get. As for education, I am interested in pursuing a physical therapy degree. I am interested in helping people recover from injury or surgery.
My grades in school have been good all throughout high school and my current grade point average is around 3.4. I am a good student and I'm dedicated to my education goals.
