Ella Carlson '26 Recruiting Profile

Hi there, my name is Ella Carlson! I am a sophomore at Hastings High School. My goal is to continue playing softball in college. I am different from other recruits because of the energy that I bring on and off the field. I like to work hard but I also know it's important to continue having fun while playing my sport. I also step up on my team and lead when a leader is needed, whether that be on the field or in the dugout. Softball isn't just a sport to me. It's when I'm with my best friends and the people who feel like family. Not only do I excel in the field, I also excel in the classroom. I am taking all honors classes and an AP class. I am also a two sport athlete. In the fall I was the captain of my school's JV volleyball team. In school, I take as many gym classes as possible to increase my speed, strength, and endurance.
