I started playing football as a quarterback at 7 years old. It has always been a goal of mine to continue playing at the highest level possible. As a high school player, I have had many great opportunities to better myself throughout my four years. For example, I was not named the starter my sophomore year. Instead, a junior ahead of me was. Although I believed that I had what it took to be the starting quarterback that year, it pushed me to work harder and come back better the next year. I won the job my junior year and our team finished our season winning the Montana AA state championship. That sophomore year was a great learning experience for me and it also gave me an opportunity to work on my game. I was able to step up and be a leader and win over my teammates and coaches.
I was a multiple sport athlete from a young age. I played baseball through my sophomore year of high school, but decided to give up baseball to focus more on football. I also start for the varsity basketball team at West High. My junior year we took 3rd place in the state tournament.
I am excited about the opportunity to play football at the next level. I am looking forward to finding a college where I can continue to develop my skills. I believe that I could be a great college quarterback and a real asset to a program.
