My name is Emmett McCoy Banner. I will graduate Fairfield High School, Montana this spring 2024. I am a 6', 190 lbs. linebacker and running back, however I am extremely versatile. As a freshman I came into a totally reconstructed program and 3 times, throughout my high school career, saw completely new coaching staff and gained their respect and confidence. Ask my coaching references and my opponents' coaches about who the hardest worker on the field is, and they will all attest to the fact that I make it my discipline to be such. Junior Year team MVP, 1st Team All-Conference Linebacker, 2nd Team All-Conference Running Back. Senior Year another team MVP, 1st Team All-Conference Running Back, 1st Team All-Conference Linebacker, Academic All-State, and an All-State Linebacker selection. Please come watch me play as a starter in the Class B 2024 All-Star Game June 15, 2024 at Rocky Mountain College. Our film is terrible in remote Montana and you will want to assess for yourself in person, but I have included some film that I would appreciate your patience and look through--you will not be disappointed. I have also been selected as an alternate in the 2024 East-West Shrine Game. I was selected as a team captain of the football team in 2022 and 2023 by my coaches and my peers. Additionally, in June of 2023, I applied and was granted the invitation to the Summer Seminar for the US Naval Academy. Each of the 3 Summer Sessions accepts around 900 candidates for Midshipmen. I was selected as 2023 USNA Summer Seminar Iron Man for "outstanding athletic performance in keeping with the physical mission of the United States Naval Academy". Each session of 900 candidates selects one person from the whole camp that exemplifies the physical attributes a midshipman should possess at the USNA. I am a multi-sport athlete as I participate in both track and wrestling. I am a time state wrestling qualifier, fifth place winner in 2023, and State Champion in 2024. I went out for track in order to improve my running form and speed for football. I was successful and qualified for state in 2023. I am committed to furthering my football career in college. I am always the hardest worker in the room, and I stay focused on whatever goal I set my sights on.
