Tommy Sherry '24 Recruiting Profile

I am an extremely hard working student athlete who is very coachable. I am smart as I have a 3.8 GPA and achieved a 29 on the ACT. I spend all year in the weight room and am on the field whenever I can be. I do not know how fast I am as I have never timed a 40 and I do not know my vertical either. I have never met anyone who could outrun me on the field though. Not only do I work hard in the classroom and on the field, I also work hard at my job. I used to work for Brothers Construction Inc. and I worked hard until the day was done. I am now working for D&D Customs, a mechanic shop, in hopes to learn more about engines and cars and I will work hard there too. 

What sets me apart from other athletes is my inability to quit and the activities I do other than football. I go resort skiing and backcountry skiing a lot. Both help with creating very strong legs and core but backcountry skiing requires hiking several miles and thousands of feet of elevation. This hiking with several pounds of gear creates lots of powerful lean muscle.
