Garret Johns '12 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Garret Johns and I'm from Aurora, Nebraska.   I go to Aurora High School and we are class B, the second largest class in Nebraska.  I am 6ft. 1in tall and weigh 270lbs. I last ran the 40 in 5.41 sec. and the 10 in 1.65 sec.  I have started for my highschool varsity team my freshman, sophomore, and junior years.  My freshman year i was all-district and we were the state champions.  My sophomore year we were state champions also.  I recieved All State Class B and Honorable Mention Super State recognition.  My Junior year we lost in the Semi Finals.  I recieved Super State Honors from both the Lincoln Journal Star and the Omaha World Hearld.  I believe I can bring leadership to a team because ever sence I was a freshman I have had to lead the Offensive line with calling audible's and making sure everyone knows their assignments.  On a regular basis during the fall I have goten together all the linemen to watch film of the opposing team.  I also get all of the linemen together in the offseason to do drills in the gym. I am open to going to any size of school.  I know that it has been my dream to play college football ever sence I was a little kid and I have been working my tail off to accomplish that dream.
