Football has been something I've wanted to play and commit myself to ever since I can remember. Unfortunately, the risk of head injuries always made my parents skeptical of my playing the sport. But, through much convincing, I finally got to play my first year as a freshman. I know most coaches would be skeptical of my ability because of how late I began playing, but I picked up the game very fast. Many coaches were very surprised when they discovered that I have not been playing for long. I already had the mental side of the game down, because of watching it for all my life, and I picked the physical side up very fast. It helps being 6'2" and running a fast 40 yard dash.
All in all, my first two years at Reno High have been very successful, my freshman season I started and acceded expectations of my first year playing. My JV season was even better. I believe that my football talents are like a fine wine, they get better with age and experience. I have high expectations for my next two years on the Varsity level. I've put in so much work and dedication the past three years of my life to this amazing sport, and it has given me so much in return. I do not intend to stop this dedication after the last snap of high school.
