I am a 2004 goalie from a nontraditional hockey town (Reno, NV), who has made it all the way to the AAA level after only 3 years of playing the position.
I just started my 4th season playing between the pipes, and am a goaltender for Honeybaked Tier 1 in Farmington Hills, Michigan. I am very excited to be playing here and working with these phenomenal coaches.
I have tremendous upside and an enormous appetite to get better. If you'd like to, you can read a little more about me below.
Last season, which was a COVID season (‘20-‘21), I played for the Northern Cyclones in Hudson, New Hampshire. The two seasons prior to that I played for the 16UAA Golden State Elite in Vacaville, California.
My profile says that I live in Sparks, Nevada, which was a 320 mile round trip drive from Vacaville. I am 100% committed to hockey and being the best that I can be as we were making this round trip drive 1-3 days/week prior to my moving to New Hampshire and now to Michigan.
I am very focused, I set goals, and I push myself both physically and mentally to be the best goalie, teammate and person that I can be. One of my greatest accomplishments to date was making both the USA Hockey Pacific Districts in 2021 as well as the Western Regional High Performance Camp with USA hockey at Colorado College. I was also selected for CAHA selects for the 2018-2019 season as well as the 2019-2020 season.
My main focus for the 2019-2020 season was to participate in the USA Hockey National Camp as well as make a 16U AAA team for 2020-2021 season. Unfortunately, due to COVID, select camp was canceled as well as the state championship that we were on our way to when we got the call to turn around. On a positive note, I did try out for three AAA programs and got offers to all 3 prior to COVID shutting everything down.
Academics are also very important to me for two reasons; 1), I want to play Division I Hockey, and 2), I want to make sure that I set myself up for success for my future. I strive for a 4.0 GPA every single semester, and I push myself in the classroom the same way I push myself on the ice. I just finished up the fall semester of 2020 with a 3.83.
When I'm not on the ice or in the gym, I'm working on my art (various mediums), music (playing my drums), or graphic design - which are my other passions.
With my passion, leadership, competitive nature, dedication, and talent, I will be successful not only at hockey, but in whatever endeavors that I choose.
