Razhon McNeil '24 Recruiting Profile

My goal is to be an first generation  college graduate and student athlete. My father passed away when I was three years old. It has just been my mom, my older brother and myself.  I want to be able to be in the position pay them back for all they have done for me. I grew up in Asbury Park New Jersey. This town is known for the good side of the tracks and the bad side of the tracks. My professional aspirations include me playing college football and obtaining a job at a college where I can give back to the sport that has given me so much. Football has been my outlet, it has gotten me through a lot of hard times. Football has provided me with opportunity to apply for schools so I can pursue my both my academic career and athletic career. After college I would like to pursue my passion for coaching. I want to be an example for young men that they can use this sport to work hard and get out of the tough situations they find themselves in. No matter where you grow up and how bad things are there is always an out. Football and my education have afforded me that out. It is my hope that I can give back to my community and to the young boys who don't grow up in the best towns to pursue their dreams of being a college athlete..
