Ryan Bontorno '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Ryan Bontorno. I am a 6’2”, 215 lb, Pro-Style Quarterback from Brick, New Jersey. I attended Red Bank Catholic High School for my first two years of high school before returning to my hometown school Brick Township High School. 

In 8th Grade, I helped lead my 14U NJAYF All Star team to a National Championship in Florida. My freshman year was during the pandemic, however I worked my onto the Varsity roster as a freshman, I played JV games that year. I was a QB for the 2021 New Jersey Non-Public B State Championship, Red Bank Catholic Casey’s. As a sophomore that year, I earned playing time, making 9 Varsity game appearances for one of New Jerseys most prestigious football programs. Junior year, I was sidelined due to NJSIAA’s transfer rule. Senior year, I took the reins as Brick’s starting quarterback. Leading the team to a 6-2 record when playing. (Missed 3 games due to injury, team finished with a 6-5 final record). I was named as a Player of the Week multiple times throughout the season.
