John Moss '24 Recruiting Profile

I am 5'9" 170lb kicker/punter from Roseland New Jersey and I attend West Essex High School. I have started on the West Essex High School Varsity Football team for 3 years. I achieved first team all-conference as a sophomore. I have a GPA of 2.9. I have a max bench of 190lbs, a max squat of 295lbs and run a 5.1 second 40-yard dash. I have been playing football since 8th grade. My greatest asset is that I am a great team leader and try to keep morale high. I always welcome new players and show them the ropes. I hope to play somewhere in the Northeast or Mid-West, but I will go anywhere that will give me the best opportunity both academically and athletically. I am looking for medium sized school and want to play anywhere from Division I to Division III. Ideally, I want to get as much playing time as possible, but I know I have to earn that, and it is not given to me. I hope to major in Criminal Justice with the ultimate goal to be a federal officer.
