My name is Keiwan Kirkland Jr., and I have been obsessed with the game of football since the age of five years old. I've always played with a lot of enthusiasm, and my goal is to be successful in the NFL. When I joined the Pop Warner team that my mother signed me up for, I immediately felt a connection with all of my teammates, and we formed a camaraderie that I still value to this day. I became aware, as I was growing up, that I had a natural aptitude for the physical play of football, which I have been able to exploit to assist my team in pushing its way to success. I want to take my football career to the next level, and the college level is where I would love to play football. I can contribute to the success of any college team, not just because of my physical ability but also my leadership capabilities both on and off the field. I want to be able to assist my teammates with whatever problems they may be experiencing, regardless of whether or not those problems are linked to football. I also want to develop a successful program that will be there for future generations. I plan to prioritize my academic performance in college. I want to graduate with a 3.5 GPA by giving my academic work the same attention as my football career. I want to set an example for young athletes by demonstrating that they can excel in both the classroom and the field. I can't wait to become a part of the team and make a positive impact on the program. The opportunity to work with a fresh group of people and challenge me to improve as a football player excites me. I am confident that I can contribute to the success of a collegiate team and bring home the title.
