Wyatt Hammond '20 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing football since I was 8 years old. I was in love with the game before I was allowed to play, watching with my dad since I  could remember. Once I stepped on the field the first time I knew I wanted to keep playing as long as I could. I always wanted to stay on the field and always wanted to play.

I am blessed to have two parents who guide me and support me and made me realize that education is key even if you are a star athlete. As a result I maintain honor roll grades. I once heard a quote that says "be the one percent of the one percent". I understand that there are many other candidates that want to be recruited also so I wake up early to workout and then workout after school also while keeping good grades. I have never missed a day of work or left my teammate hanging. I am a very dependable and accountable person. I am a team player and lead by example.
