Hello, my name Malachai Medina and thank you for reading my profile. Integrity is defined as doing the right thing when no one is watching; I have had this with me for many years and it helps me accomplish so many things. When I don’t feel like having integrity, I am disciplined and do it anyways because that is who I am. Being motivated comes and goes, and being disciplined isn’t an emotion like motivation, it is a lifestyle. I have maintained a high GPA as well as earning honor roll and being a member of the national honors society. I started varsity football as a Sophomore and also started offense, defense, and special teams for JV. For baseball, I am the starting Catcher for my legion travel team.
My grandfather had a saying, “Wake up and die right." I think of this every day and during the daily process of being a student-athlete, I tell myself this because I love staying motivated and focused. The end result is determined by the process. My collegiate goals are to earn my bachelor's degree through earning a scholarship for academics or athletics. My intention is not just to skim by in college, but to excel both on the field and in the classroom as well.
