My goal is to be the best student and athlete I can be as I tackle these next steps in becoming an adult and an actively contributing member of society. I'm willing to be utilized by the coach in any way he would feel necessary and strongly believe that I have a lot to offer a school and athletic program. I have often been placed in leadership roles in the classroom and on our football team because I have strong speaking and motivational skills. I always strive to be my best on the field and in the classroom. I do have an IEP for the difficulties I experience with reading and writing. This is a challenge that I have not allowed to stop me in pursuing my education, though it often makes some assignments more difficult. I seek the help that I need when I need it, and continue to do the best I can in all subjects. I believe it is important to focus on individual strengths and to not allow limitations to dictate anyone's path in life. I am a good candidate for your school because I am a team player who chooses actions that will benefit the team and not just myself. I have much to offer and would sincerely appreciate an opportunity to bring my abilities and character to your program.
