I am an incoming senior at Jackson high school, a division one school located in Canton Ohio, home of the Pro Football Hall of Fame. I play fullback and linebacker and am a 3 year letterman (freshman are not allowed to play varsity). I have been the starting fullback in an offense that produced over 6000 yards in 2013. I averaged 6.1 yards per carry and 11.1 yards per reception.
I am undecided about the major I am going to pursue, but I hope that going to college will help in my decision.
I lead by example on the field. I don't brag and I don't trash talk. I am very coachable. All of my coaches enjoy my presence on and off the field. I have been made a season captain more than once.
I hope to get impressive grades in my years away at college. I am going to put the hours of study time in to see the positive results, just like in my athletics, to become the best i can and then some. Academic success will be my first priority in college
When challenged with an obstacle, I overcome it by preparing a plan and executing it precisely. I never back down from a challenge on the field. I work hard and refuse to give up on my team even when there seems to be no hope. I motivate my team through examples on the field.
I am highly motivated both athletically and academically. My character will represent the university and the football team well.
