Personal Statement
My name is Ty Broermann and I am in the class of 2021 at Jackson High School. I am a two sport student athlete with a 4.0 GPA. My primary sport is baseball. From a young age, I have dreamed of playing college baseball. I started playing travel baseball at the age of 7 with the 8u Jackson Co. Black Sox and with a lot of hard work I had the privilege to help my team 3 state championships. For this team, I caught and played third. For my 13u and 14u seasons, I played for a local team, Jackson Storm, where I also caught, played third and pitched. My Freshmen year in high school my position was the starting catcher for the JV team. I caught 16 out of 18 games and hit around .300. This summer, I played for the Ohio Dawgs 15u travel baseball team out of Columbus, Ohio. I caught nearly 30 games and hit .455 My goal is start as the varsity catcher next season and continue unto the collegian level. I have found that I may not always be the biggest or fastest, but I have always been taught to give 100%! That is exactly what I will do! Effort=Success!
