Braden Stringer '14 Recruiting Profile

My name is Braden Stringer. I am a 18 yr. old senior at Blanchard High in Oklahoma. I am 5'8 and weigh 185 lbs. We won the 3A State Championship in football in 2012 my junior year and were state runners up in 2013 my senior year. My junior year I scored 2 rushing touchdowns on 9 carries for a 111 yards,  recovered a fumble, and had 14 tackles in our championship game. My senior year I rushed for 1 touchdown with 160 yards and caught 1 touchdown pass in the state finals. I am a running back and strong safety. I rushed for 3,202 yards in 2013 (10.2 yards per carry) and had 44 rushing touchdowns and 2 receiving (46 overall ). My junior year (2012) I totaled 1,377 yards (9.7 yards per carry) and had 21 touchdowns. I was awarded Daily Oklahomans All State running back. I was a state runner up at 160 lbs. my sophmore and junior year in wrestling and I am a 2X state champion powerlifter and my jr. yr. I set the Oklahoma State record at 168 lbs. for total weight lifted at 1320 lbs.(OFBCA ). I ran a 4.42/ 40 yrd. at the North Texas Mean Green Camp and at the Kansas State camp. I also bench pressed 325 lbs. 5 times at our field house in front of my high school coaches for a rep max. I have also power cleaned 305 lbs at our field house.

I have a 3.59 GPA and I scored a  21 on my ACT which I am sure I will improve on. I am a self motivated, hard worker who loves to be in the gym and get stronger. I have a strong desire to play football at a D1 level if it be God's will. I will continue to put the work in to make that happen. I am hoping that you will take a look at my video's and give me a chance to show you my ability and also the kind of person that I am.
