I am Colton Owen, age 18, from Tecumseh Oklahoma where I live with my parents, Roger and Mia, as well as younger sister, Summer. Currently, I am a senior at Tecumseh High School and will graduate May, 2013. My favorite subjects include history and sports. I am involved in leadership, FCA, lettering in football, basketball and baseball. I am active in our church youth group and my hobbies include fishing, golf or anything competitive. Competing is addictive! Football; however, is my greatest passion. I am currently 6'5", weighing 220, with room to grow according to resent x-ray reports. I bench 200 and squat 265. I run a flat 5.0 40 yard dash. My strengths include my height, attitude, accuracy and arm (longest completed pass this year is 65 yards). Coaches say I am very coachable, fundamentally advanced, and a good kid. I work hard and enjoy learning and improving my game. I invite the receivers to meet me every Tuesday night and work on routes. I consider myself to be a person of good character and lead by example. My favorite scripture is "I can do all things in Christ who strengthens me" Philippians 4:13. People who have influenced me most are God, my Parents, and Grandparents. Others include, Coaches Josh and Ken Heupel who taught me the keys to success are discipline, trust, respect and hard work during the Day of Champions camp. My goal is to attend a collage of good academic standing and play football at the next level. My course of study remains undecided; however, I am considering sports medicine or fire science, and follow in my fathers footsteps and be a firefighter. I prefer to attend a college in Oklahoma or surrounding states; however, I am open to go anywhere.
