I didn't start playing football utill the 6th grade. I remember going to the first practice and thinking what am I doing here (I'm also pretty sure all the other kids thought the same thing!) this isn't going to be fun at all. That whole mindset of football changed really fast for me. The sport has grown on me ever since I started.
My freshman year I had to grow up really fast our starting Quarterback got hurt the very first game of the year. This sport has helped me grow into a better football player but also a better person. Between not winning a game my Freshman or Sophmore year( that was tough), but also breaking my hand in the second game of the season my Sophmore year was a big set back for me. This sport has taught me to never give up on myself. I still feel like I feel like I have a long ways to go with playing this game. I can't wait to take my game to the next level.
