Austin Monahan '14 Recruiting Profile

I'm a 6' defensive back that has a 3 year varsity award. i was named twice honorable mention as a junior and as a senior. I played in a secondary that led the state in turnovers for 2 straight years. i led our secondary in tackles and passes batted down as a senior. I would like to play football in College where it feels like home. I am open to playing anywhere as long as it is a good atmosphere. I am not opposed to playing in a small program, although my preference is one of the major powerhouses, because of exposure and future opportunities that it provides. Ultimately, my academic future is more important in the long run, so schools with histories of being very successful. As a Freshman, I hope to be given the opportunity to compete for a position. And ultimately start just like any kid wants too. May the best man win!
