Playing college football has always been a goal of mine, somtheing that has driven me for years. I've always understood the grades aspect of it and have held myself to a high standard, with a gpa at a 3.86 as of 3-22-19, I wouldnt want to lose an oppurtunity somewhere just because I couldnt get it done it class. Athletics wise my coaches have always called me versatile, Playing halfback, receiver, and without my coach knowing playing a few downs of O line on offense, My senior year I'll be playing quarterback for my school. On defense I was all league as a DB my sophomore year and All league as a Linebacker my Junior year, and Ill most likely be playing safety next year. Finally Im just a worker, my freshman year our varsity team didn't win a game, while our soccer team won state that year and the following year. Everyone hated on the football team, no one wanted to play and laughed at anyone who did play. I put my head down and worked, Since my sophomore year Ive started every game because of the work I put in that offseason. My sophomore year we went 4-4, and my junior year we went 6-2. One thing I have over other athletes is starting as a loser, and building myself and my team into a winner. Ive played in games where there was no crowd and I've played in games where the stands were packed, I didn't go to a school that always won, we as a team had to grind everyday to turn the program around and I think that is very valuable to my development as a athlete and as a person.
