Mathieux Mallon '24 Recruiting Profile

I am ambitious student and athlete always ready to learn new things that my coaches and teachers present to me.   Growing up I watched football with my Mom, Dad and Brother.  It was a family tradition every week.  I started playing in the 4th grade and immediately loved every aspect of the game.

After my dad passed away when I was 12, I have learned to persevere through many different obstacles in life.  I have gained knowledge and grew on and off the field watching my mother work multiple jobs to provide for me and my brother.  My work ethic with school and sports comes from my strong family background even though we have had some tough times.  

Whether on the track or football field  my teammates and coaches have become my extended family.  I strive to accomplish my highest potential in school with taking honors and AP courses with the hope to continue my academic success at the college level while being part of a team and playing the sport I have a passion for.
