Jacob Zbegner '15 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing football since I was 8 years old. I love it, but my true inspiration was my grandfather. He was the one that always wanted me to continue playing and always told me how good I was at it, so my dream is to make my grandfathers dream to come true. 

Football has always been there for me my whole life, I've played with so many great people and friends. The memories i make my high school year will stay with me forever, and i will always be able to look back at my life and know that i am satisfied with my accomplishments and my abilities to help my friends, teammates, and family. During my years of football, i always was a Fullback and Linebacker. I feel these positions were meant for me. Fullback i get to do what i love, run the ball and then i also am able to help my other teammates by setting up and executing blocks to help us win the game. Linebacker was always my defensive position, reading if it is a run or a pass is the key to a good linebacker.
