My goals as a student athlete at the college level is to come in and learn the system and contribute as early as my freshman year. I believe being coachable and being a student of the game is what makes me a great candidate. I strive to always do the right thing, even when the right thing doesn't seem right, I'm willing to push my body to the limit in order to sacrifice for the team. Academics should always be first no matter how good you are in sports, so that's my first responsibility to your program in order to never let my family, coaches and teammates down academically.
What motivates me to become great player was my freshman year being smaller then some friends but having just as much talent, I was overlooked when the coaches on varsity started moving kids up but looked past me, this drove me to work harder with my dad in the offseason to become not only faster but stronger. I went into my sophomore season as still a JV guy, but coaches on varsity soon noticed me and the speed I had developed, they decided to do a competition where all the skills position players raced 40yds and I beat each member by about a 3 yard gap. The story from there is me starting at corner every game as a sophomore on varsity.
