Football has been a passion of mine since I was 10 years old and I played on my first recreational team. When I joined that team, I was not sure of myself as an athlete. After playing on that first team, and discovering my athletic skills and earning my coaches respect, I discovered that I love to compete and I love the game. I also discovered how much my teammates mean to me as my friends that I trust and have fun with.
My coaches tell me that my strongest asset is my work ethic and my honorability. As the 2nd of 7 children in a single parent family, I understand hard work. My mom has been my greatest inspiration. After I finished playing on my first team, my mom realized how important football was to me. My mom said that if I continued to be committed and show improvement, that she would support my dream to become a college athlete.
Since then as a high school athlete, I have been able attend Rubio’s Long Snapping program (4Star Rubio LS) as well as Coach Brian Mean’s, Long Snapping program. These two programs have allowed me to develop and diversify my skills as a long snapper as well as they have provided me the opportunity to compete with other athletes. I’ve also found a great mentor in another Division 1 athlete, that helps to train me.
My goal is to play NCAA Division 1 football. I believe I will be an asset to any team and school that I attend both on the field and in the classroom. I’m excited to play at that level and live my dream!
