I became interested in football when I was about seven years old after watching the Carolina Panthers play on television. Ever since then I've wanted to play and not just watch, so I began playing in the 2nd grade. I've played center every year but also played defensive tackle in the 2014 and 2015 fall seasons. I'm always open to learning new positions to learn as much as I can about the game and to improve my performance as a player. I think I am different from other recruits in that I am a versatile player and an athletic offensive lineman. I'm also very conscientious about my education as well as my character. I have a high GPA and I am a member of the Beta Club and the National Honor Society.. I try to be a leader to my team both on and off the field by way of example in how I treat others, and how I conduct myself at school, at home and in my community. In the spring of 2016, I received an award for outstanding male student of the year which showcases not only academics, but also character. That award is only given to one male student in the entire 8th grade class. I also received the best lineman award for the fall 2014 and fall 2015 seasons and the Future Bearcat Offensive Player of the Year award for the fall 2016 season. I also received the Offensive Lineman of the year award for the 2017 and 2018 seasons. The Rock Hill Herald also recognized me in the 2017 and 2018 seasons as Hawg of the Week and in the 2017 season as an honorable mention and in the 2018 season as first team pick for the offensive lineman of the All Area football team. For the 2018 season I was also awarded Tri-County Player of the week for several weeks. I’m a two year varsity starter at Rock Hill High School. My goals are to play football at a College level while obtaining an education in Computer Science or Engineering. I look forward to having the opportunity to discuss playing football for your College or University . You will find that I am a hardworking athlete who is dedicated to this sport, always coachable and ready to learn, and fully committed to his team. I will work hard, play hard and be a great example of what a college football player should be both on and off the field.
