Personal Statement
As of 4/16/13, I was a scholarship player at Texas Tech University (2012 signee) and red-shirted this past season. I have just completed spring practice and now have my release forms. Recruited by Tommy Tuberville and Robert Prunty Big 12 recruiter of the year 2011 and 2012. Tuberville and staff are at Cincinnati. The present Head Coach Kliff Kingsbury changes defenses to a 3-4 and moveved me to OLB. Had 14 D-1 offers out of high school and some wanted me as a OLB in a 3-4 and had no interest in those 3-4 schools as a OLB. I am in good standing academically and with the present coaching staff. In my first year at Tech, I will have 8 summer school hours and will have 25 regular semesters. hours. Want to transfer to a D-1 program that runs a 4 front defense. As of 7/28//11, I was 6'4 and 228 pounds and have added 15 pounds this summer in the weight room. Went to the Army All American junior combine back in January and did great.. Ran many sub 4.60 forties in camps this summer and ran a laser 40ty at Ole Miss camp of 4.69. Ran a 3.97 and a 4.01 shuttle at NC State camp. Had a successful summer and have 8 D-1 offers to date. Pre season All State DE in all publications. At my school we have a great off season weight program and I love to work out. I am a converted middle school tailback that has been able to keep my speed and quickness even though I am still growing. I weighted only 160 pounds in 9th grade football and played my junior year at 6'2 190. I am a very late bloomer. I am a DE in a four front and I am a big time "edge player". My Dad is a high school coach and I have 5 college football players in my bloodline. My high school plays in the largest classification in Tennessee and we produce multiple D-1 players every year. My dream is to play for a D-1 school anywhere in the country. I am a very self motivated football player and please recruit me. Thank you-Chase Robison
