Personal Statement
Hi my name is CJ and I am a high school senior weighing in at 210 pounds,standing 6'3 and still growing. My 40 times is a 4.5, I bench 300, and I am currently squatting 430 pounds. For the 2010-2011 football season I played on the Varsity team in which I played for the first time as an OLB. I was honored and awarded 2nd Team All District for playing this position. I'm currently playing on a 7 on 7 select football team called the Cobras. I have played with them for 2 years and last year we were named champions. I have many characteristics that set me apart from others. Just to name a few would be that I am a hard worker, team player, the ability to motivate others around me, my athleticism and good work ethics. While doing all of this, I still manage to stay grounded and humble and help my team mates be the best that they can be. I'm a leader by my work ethics, and playing at the highest level of sports is my goal. I usually give off that same vibe to my team mates because when it comes to football I have a great love for the game. My family of brothers that make up my team also share that same love for the game of football. I will take this passion for football and teamwork with me to college, wherever that may be, because working together as a team is what makes a team stronger. At this point, I have just begun my quest to find that perfect college that fits me and my future needs. The idea of college has me overwhelmed because there are so many great colleges out there that I would love to attend, but I have not made a decision yet. I'm interested in taking Computer Technology or Computer Design but I have thought about venturing into Sports Medicine. I am currently interested in both, but at this point I am still undecided on what my major will be. One of my greatest goals is that I would be able to play at the highest level of football my freshman year of college, and help make a great impact on my team and others that surround me.
