Personal Statement

I have been playing football since I was 5 years old. Since I first stepped on the field, I have aspired to play at the collegiate level. I know playing in college is a once in a lifetime opportunity that could change my whole life.

I am a very competitive, driven athlete, dedicated to become the very best student athlete I can be.  I am a very coachable player, who is not afraid to embrace the grind of hard work.  I'm always working to improve my skills as well as training to be bigger, faster, and stronger. I am very coachable and will be one of the hardest working players you will recruit.

In the classroom, I work hard to maintain my GPA. I also volunteer at the local Boys and Girls Club.

It is my dream to earn the opportunity to play football at a 4 year college or university where I can push myself in the classroom and on the football field. I am a very high character person who is willing to go the extra mile in preparing myself for my future.  I expect to be successful, and know I'll have to work to achieve it as this has been instilled in me from a young age.

  • This write up was made by National Analyst, Barry Every of National Underclassmen Camps; Josuaa Jacobs, 5-9/160, WR, Austin, TX http://www.hudl.com/athlete/3069787/highlights Jacobs has the size of a slot receiver yet the speed to get behind defensive backs. He runs sharp routes using a firm plant foot and hip gyration to sell his routes. Jacobs has very good hands and is dangerous after the catch. He has the ability to make defenders miss or split the gap vertically. He was definitely a go-to target during the 7-on-7 tournament leading his team to the championship. His hard work did not go unnoticed as he was honored as 2017 ATH MVP. Of all the players in the camp he may have the most impressive film and he is fully qualified. Jacobs should get serious looks from high level FCS colleges in my opinion.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
