Personal Statement
I have been playing football since I was eight years old. Ever since I stepped on the football field, I knew that it was the sport for me. I have worked hard every single day to be a better player on the field, and an even better person off the field. I aim to inspire and lead my team day in and day out to better players and men. I have dreamed since my first snap to play at the collegiate level and one day, in the NFL.
In the classroom, I focus on my work because I am aware that education is the key to success. I know in order for me to be football smart, I must first be school smart. I have dedicated my time to not only being a better athlete, but as well as a focused student with a high GPA. I am also involved in many clubs at school, including the Chick-fil-a Leadership Academy, the Emerge College Preparation Program, and many more. Outside of school, I love giving back to my community, whether it be through volunteering at my local food bank as well as my church.
I aspire to attend college so that I can study to set myself for success not only on the field, but as a Mechanical Engineer. I am willing to make sacrifices and am open to all options to ultimately decide where I think I will be successful.
