Hello, my name is Ira Omarion Ruffin Jr and I am a fifteen-year-old student at Kenston Forest School in Blackstone, Virginia. My aspiration to play at the collegiate level began when I was 10 years old. I am determined to be the first in my immediate family to play college football and I know it will be a challenge. I am currently working very hard to maintain a GPA of 3.0-3.3 or beyond. I strive to keep an A-B average in high school whilst maintaining a good relationship with every student and teacher. I do not mind where I go, as long as it's the place where God sees I can prosper. In preparation for my college major, my interests lie in the technical field: networking, computer, or technical-related careers as that is what I'm interested in for the future.
On the field, I work hard and I also want my brothers to work hard. I am not the type to bring someone down because they cannot do something, even if it is a simple task, the team is always first. Academically I am working to improve this upcoming year as my 11th-grade year was not as productive as I wanted it to be.
