Dhevyn Anderson '13 Recruiting Profile

My name is Dhevyn Anderson.   I am a Senior at Massaponax HS in Virginia.  I play football as you probably already know from being on this site. I'm 6'0" and weigh 220 lbs.  At my best camp so far I  ran a 4.7 and a 4.22 shuttle, my bench max is 295 and its steadily rising. I like to get work done, on the field, in the weight room, in all aspects of the game. I really just want to make an impact on wherever I have the oppurtunity to go. I want to earn my degree and if I can compete at a high level collegiately.

I want to make my family proud and set the example for my little brother to follow.  My family in very important to me and I know that if I am a success than they are a success.  It's real easy to get involved in the wrong thing, I know I have a chance to be the best and that's what I intend to do in the classroom and on the field.  I haven't been the best I can be - but I will.

In 2010 I was All-District HM, and All Area HM. In 2011 I transferred from Courtland HS to Fredericksburg Christian and was named 1st Team All Conference. This season coming up, i'm shooting for a state championship, any accolades I may receive during that time will just be bonuses. I was selected to compete at the 2012 National Underclassman Regional in Delaware as well as the National Under Classman Showcase at the University of Oklahoma this summer. I transferred to Massaponax High School this year and will graduate in 2013. I was selected as First Team All Commonwealth District Linebacker, Second Team All Region, and Second Team All Area. I also received the Academic All Honors Award from my team for maintaining a GPA of 3.5 or higher (3.75) and was recently named Massaponax High School 2012 Defensive Player of the Year!  This season as I lead the Panthers in tackles, tackles for loss, and served as a Defensive Captain.  I'm ready to take the next step!
