I am a freshman who goes to Loudoun County High School. I take all academic classes, for my electives, I do JROTC and spanish because I want to get my advanced diploma. A lot of my teachers say this is the best option to help me get to college and thats what I'm going to try to do. I don't know if you would consider my ROTC team "a real team", but I'm also on the Physical training team for that. I mostly do that to help me with my weight training and core exercises. But I have competed in one of the ternaments for that and we came in first place. I didn't get any offical award for football. Personaly for me, being able to play varsity football as a freshman was probably my best achivment for this year. I was more of a "Swing player" which means I played freshman football some games and I played varsity football the other couple of games. For varsity playoffs I played special teams because of some of the injuries that had occured to some of the other players.
My training plan to help gain weight has been hard but it has helped me in every way possible. The plan my coach and I came up with was I needed to eat 6,000 calories a day which has been hard but doing it helped me with my everyday schedule. My goal weight for next year has been 175 pounds for next year to fit my position better. After starting this schedule I have been increasing my lifting weight which makes me happy that I'm working out with the team and helping other people with all of there lifting too. I would say playing on the freshman team for some of those games I was a leader for the defense and that made me super happy that my team looked up to me like that. Now that it's offseason and we have been working with the other freshman players and the varsity coach has asked me to help them with there weight training and other football related stuff.
