Passionate, athletic, determined, self-motivated, competitive and skilled are all qualities that I bring to the football field. I began playing football at the age 8,first with the local football club in my county, and then with the Augusta Spartans of the Thomas Jefferson Youth Football League. From my experience with those teams, I knew I wanted to play football at the next level.
I play Running Back and Defensive Back. I am 6'0" and weigh 180 lbs. My size and quickness give me an advantage getting through the line and downfield. I also believe that I have a stronger work ethic than most players I am playing against. I have been weightlifting consistently for approximately three and a half years, since I was thirteen years old. My weightlifting schedule consists of 2 or more hours each session, 6 days per week. I am committed to making myself stronger to increase my power on the field.
My commitment to the game and community extends beyond just being a player. I am an assistant coach for my 5 year old sister’s t-ball team as well as assist with Junior Varsity football games and little league games on the weekends. I come from a supportive, faith oriented home where I live with my mother, step-father, 2 younger sisters and 1 younger brother.
Academically, I believe I am a strong student and strive for success in the classroom as well as on the field. As a junior, I am currently enrolled in AP History, Advanced Biology and Pre-Calculus. I have maintained a 4.1 out of 5.0 GPA throughout the semester.
My goal to play football at the next level is supported by my passion, determination, strength, and experience. I am committed to offering these qualities and want to find a team that sees these same attributes in me as well.
