Hector Delgado '23 Recruiting Profile

Playing sports is my true passion. I have played soccer, baseball, some basketball, wrestled, and hold a black belt in Karate, but the love I have for football is beyond compare. I was introduced to the sport when I was twelve years old and automatically knew I wanted to do this for the rest of my life.  I started later than most athletes, but because I already had an athletic background, I easily adapted to the sport and have been steadily  progressing at it. I am determined and will not quit until I achieve my personal goals of becoming an NFL player and winning several Super bowls. I envision myself playing for a University that has my best interest at heart and can help me achieve my goals.  I know my academics could use a boost and I have to admit that the pandemic didn't make it any easier for me, but I am working on it and will continue to strive for better grades if this is what it takes. Being raised in a military family I know all about making sacrifices for what I believe in and I truly believe I can do it. 

Overall, I am easy to get along with, a true team player, and exceptionally devoted to meeting objectives and attaining goals.  Having me on your team will be a win-win situation for both you and me!
