As I look forward to the future, I am very grateful for the opportunity to further my education and my love of football. I have been playing football since I was six years old. It has taught me discipline, structure, leadership, patience and much more. I have learned how important teammates and loyalty are.
When I began my freshman year of high school I knew I had to prove myself to my coaches and team. I worked very hard and during my freshman year my coach started putting me to play in varsity games. Our team went to the playoffs this season. By my sophomore year I was a full time starter on the varsity team. I made 1st Team All State. I am currently in my junior year of high school and I am a Team Captain. Being a Captain is a great privilege especially since I am a junior. I have worked hard even during the off season to continue my strength training along with skill training. I am a very positive person and I continually encourage and support my team.
I play both offense and defense never coming out of a game. I have played many positions including running back and many linemen positions. I give my all during a game and really enjoy being on the field.
I also understand how important my education is. I have always worked hard to keep my grades positive and remain on my schools Honor Roll. I am also very active in my school not only in sports but in all aspects of high school. I always help the office staff when they need me for many different things and I am also a computer assistant which allows me to learn and try so many things from helping out together our schools awards days and being the only student in my school trained to run the drone.
My home life is extremely important to me. My parents love and support me in everything I do. They truly are my biggest fans. I am the youngest of five boys raised in a small town in Seth, WV. Being the youngest I am the only one still living at home. However my brothers and their families all live extremely close, we get together almost daily. My faith in God has also influenced my life and studies. Trusting God and having such a supportive family has really has been essential to furthering my education and playing football at the college level.
