I do my best to get better every time I put my pads on. I may not be the biggest kid on the feild, but I won't deny an opportunity to give or take a hit. I spent my middleschool and freshmen year playing offensive line and linebacker. My experience on the line helps out a lot when it comes to lead blocking for the carrier on offense and reading the offense.
One of the biggest things I pride myself on is being able to play through any obstacle I face on the field. I played through 4 broken bones (two in the wrist, a rib, and one in my foot) to lead the team in defensive points and tackles this past year, playing middle linebacker. I say and I'd like to think that I'm just a tough kid when someone asks how I could do it, but the real reason I'll push myself through any injury to play is more due to the fact that I love this game. I am going to do anything to play as long as I can. That's what keeps me consistently training in the offseason. I do anything I can to be better at football. So, if you would like to know why I want to play college ball, it's not for the scholarships or the cool new uniforms. There's one reason why I want to play; I love football.
