Moses Stiles '20 Recruiting Profile

My name is Moses Stiles as you already know. I'm 17 years old and love to play basketball. I've been playing basketball for all my life but never officially until the 8th grade. I moved to Alabama from New York and i had no idea what to expect, I was still young i didn't know anything about GPA, SAT, and ACT's, but i still knew that i wanted to play basketball. I played middle school basketball at Challenger middle and at the end of the year i won the award for "The most improved player of the year". I was proud of myself but i was still hungry and determined to be better than i could ever be. My freshman year in highschool i tryout for the Grissom High School Basketball team, i didn't make. So throughout sophomore and junior year i continue to prove that i deserve to be on the team but it didn't seem like the coaches were interested in anyone because year after year they continue to not pick up any players. This summer i worked my butt off completely until i became better and better. They're are multiple reasons why im fit to be on your team. I'm a team player, I hustle on every play offense and defense, I'm primarily a back to the basket post player. I'm a post player who gets physical but gets the ball in the hoop with a 3 point shot. I can get rebounds on both ends and run the ball up the court without any turnovers. I'm really a good kid off the court but on the court i pour my heart out, another thing i love to win and winning is the most important thing because basketball is a team sport. If the team isn't doing good i'll help everyone do better because we're a team.
