Samuel Lockhart '24 Recruiting Profile

My aspirations are to play basketball at the collegiate level and one day pro overseas. I am a high academic student athlete and a two time captain of the Varsity Thunder Mountain basketball team. I was named 2nd team All State, and our team finished 2nd in the state of Alaska. I have taken a leadership role on and off the court and strive to be the best teammate I can be. I am very coachable and able to mold to fit into any coaching style. On the court, I have a high IQ and great court vision. I play of two feet, have a great passing ability and ball handle. My specialty, however, is shooting. I hold the three point record for most threes in a game (9), in a season (97) and in school history. I am also the 2nd all time scorer in Thunder Mountain history. But most importantly, I play hard, dive for lose balls, and box out.
