Chrishon Baker '20 Recruiting Profile

Hi, My Name is Chrishon Sydii Baker. I'm 14 Years old, Originally from Phoenix, Arizona. I started playing Basketball at the age of 8 I feel in love with the art of basketball by then and at that point I told myself that Basketball is what I want to do as a professional job. As a little kid I was playing all around the city in different recreational centers, Boys and Girls Clubs. As you would probably know, I wasn't as good at Basketball as I am now. So I trained everyday, and every Night to become the Elite player that I am now. All the talent that I have contained didn't come easy at all, I had to work hard for it all. The living conditions that i've lived in my life haven't been the the best, but the worst. Moving form hotel to hotel everyday, waking up not knowing where I would be staying the next day. That led my parents to both start working which caused my older Brother to raise me as a Little kid. My mother had gotten Diagnosed with survical , and  brain cancer in 2011,At that point I thought my life was the worst and I entered the wrong lifestyle, hanging with the wrong crowds, and that was leading me down the wrong path. My Mother and Father as well as the rest of my family had ensured me that I wouldn't become the Nba All-Star that I dreamed of being as a little kid. So I took that to kind and told myself 3 things, 'What would jesus do", "do it for your mom', and "The chance comes once in a lifetime". Once I said that In my head everything changed. My dream is to become a Nba All-Star. The main reason I want to become a Basketball player is not because the love of the game, But the passion of it. I want my family to live the luxorious life as if we never struggled, and I need NCSA to help me make my DREAMS COME TRUE.
