I am a good candidate for your team because I am a great leader and teammate. I help my teammates when needed. My coaches have called me a soldier on the court. I know the plays and help others get into position. I might not be the best on the court, but I never give up. I add to the team in other ways. I have a passion for basketball. I go into my garage several times daily and work on my ball-handling skills. I have played on a D1 team for several years, playing AAU ball. I attend camps every chance I get to develop my skills. Grades are important to me, and I had a 4.0 during middle school. I am in boy scouts, and I am a leader. I am on my way to becoming an Eagle Scout, which shows my determination and drive to better myself and help others.
