Personal Statement
I am a self-motivating team player, and team leader by example on and off the court. I work hard and learn fast, more importantly I learned firsthand this year it takes the overall team’s effort and not the talent of an individual to win a game. This has shaped me to be a better team player. I can play small forward, shooting guard and center.
My collegiate goal is to earn a degree in Physical Therapy or Personal Finance. My aspiration is to attend college and play basketball for a great organization. I would be a good candidate to any team because I bring with me loyalty, dedication, commitment, as well as consistency. Growing up in a military home sets me aside from other student athletes because I have seen firsthand what it takes to be on a team, have discipline, and be responsible not just for what I do on the court but off the court as well. Athletically I’m trainable and I always take the coaches critiques seriously. Being a military dependent and student athlete has taught me early how to multitask and balance my time between athletics, academics, and family. Considering me would never be a gamble or a disappointment.
