I am a 2024 grad from Mountain View, California. I play several positions, from outside back, winger, to center back.
Some of my biggest strengths on the field is my ability to play with both feet equally and although my primary position is the winger or outside back, I can easily adapt to playing other positions when needed. (except for goalkeeper) My ability to target crosses to open players as a winger or tracking back and delaying an opposing attacker are both equally strong and effective during the game.
Through this sport I learned how to use criticism to improve my game, and I learned through other people how my strength as a player shines, whether that comes from my teammate scoring off of my cross or my through ball/distribution leading to an attacking play. Being an athlete for almost as long as I can remember helped shape me into the competitive, stubborn, observant, and adaptable person I am today.
These qualities also show in the classroom, where I strive to be the best I possibly can and find new ways to improve my test scores from the last and the ones before. However, when the occasional C comes around, I find out what went wrong to continue to better myself and don't let it drag me down.
Above all else, I aspire to be a top student and a reliable athlete that my peers can look up to and my parents to be proud of.
