My collegiate goals are to further my education and further my social experiences. I want to be able to leave college with a better education and a better understanding of myself, my role in society, and my social responsibilities. My aspiration is to go to a college where there is plenty of interaction with others around campus, whether it be students, professors, coaches, or teammates. I am different from other recruits because I am an outgoing guy, and I like to build up my teammates and help out my team in any way possible. I have a high basketball IQ and I know how to control the floor as well as how to adapt to different situations. Additionally, I study all of the positions on the floor to increase my knowledge on how everyone on the court plays the game and how to help myself and my teammates adjust to different situations, different plays and so on. I like to say that I am like a floor general on the court. I direct my teammates on where to go, or how to adapt or how to put themselves in better positions to succeed. I am a very vocal leader on the court and have constant conversations with coaches on and off the court to better understand what plays to run, or how to interpret the game. I'm everywhere on the court. I always get the assignment of playing full court on defense or shadowing the best guard on the opposing team, and even the forwards at times. I never stop hustling and I will dive for loose balls, I will just be a dog defensively and try to shift momentum to our side of the basketball. The one thing that I am most proud about my game is my speed. I play fast and I like to be everywhere. Offensively, I use my speed to get around defenders and set up opportunities for myself and my teammates. Also, I never miss a practice. I am always in the gym trying to help myself and my teammates to get better. Not only am I in the gym during practices, but I try to do sessions outside of practices as well to help myself. I stay on top of my grades which are very important to me. High grades have always been above athletics for me and I know how to balance basketball with school. I put maximum effort not only on the court, but in the classroom as well.
