2021 SpotlightPersonal Statement
Recently I was deeply considering quitting sports. This came from a place of self-doubt and insecurity. I knew the whole time that my passion is basketball and I want to play.
I overcame this negative thought by staying after in the gym, long after practice and spending time with the sport alone. This extra time allowed me to motivate and push myself until there was no room left for doubt. Since then I took that energy that I generated for myself and translated it to my team, and that is my plan for any teams that I am a part of.
